The MK-V Waikato Milk Meter is an important management tool for the progressive dairymen. Use it to select high producing goats for future breeding, for advice culling low producers and for checking results of supplementary feeding.
Waikato Milk Meter retains a small percentage of the yield in a calibrated flask from which the goats total yield may be read in kilograms (Conversion decal will show pounds, order separately).
A representative sample can be easily taken for butterfat analysis. The Meter fits into the long milk tube between each milking cluster and the milk pipeline and may be cleaned in place or manually.
