LyoPro MDL Meso Cheese Culture

Our new line of cheese cultures from Italy, all NON-GMO!   LyoPro MDL is a mesophilic freeze-dried aromatic Lactic Starter Culture to make Hard and soft cheeses, such as Edam, Gouda, white cheese, Pecorino, Cream cheese, just to mention a few. It can also be used for flavoring (culturing)  butter! 

This has a mixture of cultures that increases aroma production and eye forming ability in semi-hard and hard cheeses. It is great to use with goat or sheep's milk!  Makes the best chevre!  If you are familiar with Biena products, this one is similar to Biena Meso B. But if you are using cow's milk, don't hesitate to try this culture if you really love lots a flavor and a creamy texture to your cheese.  And, these are the type of cultures that you can make a mother culture from your raw milk to keep them going for a longer time.

Ingredients: Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis, Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris, Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis biovar diacetylactis, Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. cremoris. Carrier: Dextrose   Best stored in frig or freezer for longer life.
