These light weight tanks come with a 7.5" opening on top with a screw-top lid that seals against a gasket and has a small screw-in valve for pressure release with fermented liquids, or to help with dispensing with a valve. There is a 1/2" BSPP female coupler on the bottom that comes with an installed plug, designed to work with the ball valve as well for easy dispensing.
For winemaking purposes, Fusti tanks can be used as settling tanks, blending tanks, or for racking out of barrels. When used in place of carboys, they have the benefit of a larger volume capacity, easier cleaning, no risk of breakage, no stoppers popping out, and no need for siphoning when used with the included Stainless Steel Valve for Fusti tanks.
