The LyoPro MBD is a meso-thermo culture that is great for semi-hard cheeses like cheddar to softer cheese, sour cream and Butter Milk. It can also be suggested for the production of cream cheese and goat cheese. Remember there are always a variety of cultures you can use to make your cheese, but it is all about personal preference on the outcome.
The MBD is from our LyoPro line of Non-GMO cultures manufactured in Italy providing the creamiest textures and great flavors.This culture is very similar to the Danisco Brand Meso 4001 - 4002.
